okay, so now I suck

Not such a great week, but could have been much worse!!! Weigh in was tonight and I am up .6lbs. That wasnt actually what I was hoping for, considering I finally got up off my fat ass and worked out 3 times in the past week. Did a 20 min, pretty intense workout ( I know 20 mins isnt much, but for me it was hell, as I HATE!!!!!!!!exercise!!!!!!!!!) So I worked up a sweat, to make up for my bad diet habits this past week. Saturday night was the schools big spaghetti supper and I won a big batch of brownies topped with powdered sugar during the cake walk. But I started out being good and gave 1/2 of it away, it was the other 1/2 that screwed me big time...saturday night I joined my son by having ice cream with him, real chocolate ice cream and couldnt help myself and put a piece of brownie under the ice cream, boy that was damn good, I enjoyed every bite.
Then on Sunday I found a Nestles crunch bar, not a mini one either, but a full sized, real chocolate bar...1/2 way thru it I did say to myself, "self you really dont need this" but it was too late and I finished the whole thing. This wasnt not nearly as good as the ice cream and brownie and quite honestly it did make me feel kind of sick, so lesson learned there. And then my DH went and made fried chicken for lunch on Sunday. Now bear in mind for the past 7 weeks I have cut all the fat off my meat that I have eaten and not eaten any of the the skin on the baked chicken, but that fried chicken was impossible to resist. No will power at all and I ate 3 chicken wings, skin and all and even pulled some extra skin off on pieces on the plate.
So yea, I suck!!! But considering how bad I was to gain .6 lbs isnt terrible, but now I will have to work twice as hard to lose next week. Wish me luck, cause I am going to need it.
Oh one of my fellow WW told me tonight that when I get tempted to say " nothing tastes as good as being thin will feel" or something like that, so that will have to be my new mantra....(mmmm, moosa, ooommm, moosa, mmmm yea life is good!)

Homecoming parade

Austin with Beaufort Elementary's Float

Brendan in marching band

Union Middle School's Marching Band

Both my boys were in the Union's Homecoming Parade this past Friday. So proud!!!! I was able to leave work during lunch to watch the parade and take some pictures.
Brendan is in band and plays the saxophone. This was his first parade for band and had to practice playing and walking. He did great!
Austin is in Student Council. This was his first parade also. It was a long walk, but they had a good time.

Home away from home

Atleast it used to be. These are my girls, my Angels, in the back row, from Rehabcare Outpatient Therapy, in St. Clair. That is me on the left, then Angie, Charli and Anita. I am so lucky to have such a great group to work with, when they let me that is. See St. Clair used to be the place I would go to work everyday, but Anita just took over. Just kidding, love you Anita. Actually we got busy in other facilities so I keep busy kind of running around where ever my boss tells me to go.
By the way know what Boss stands for????....big old stupid son of a bitch....but not my boss though, love ya Michelle, mean it! Where was I, oh that's right, St.Clair was my home away from home. I have worked with most of these people for many years, we know the good, the bad and the ugly. Angie has become a mini me, that happened years ago when we first started working together, but she does a great job and I couldnt do my job with out her. Charli is the best, she has fit right in with all our craziness since she come to us all the way from the other side of the bridge. She keeps us on our best behavior for the most part. Anita, new to us this year, but has jumped in with both feet and seen us at our worst and best and kept coming back, so ya we will keep her.
The great folks in the front row are some of our hardest working people you will ever meet. Left to right: Renee, Jim and Sandy. This picture was taken at Jim's graduation day, he worked really hard and did well enough to be rid of us and plans on moving back to Texas, way to go Jim, so proud. Renee and Sandy are both well on their way to joining him and graduating themselves.
I miss seeing all these people everyday!! It is nice and quiet without them sometimes, but they are like family and it's nice to be able to see them again and work with them once and awhile.
Keep up the good work ladies, you do a great job and it makes me proud when I hear nice things about you and all you do
Love ya all, mean it
